Question: Xbox 360 games with high replay value?
I recently got an Xbox 360, and I am looking for some games that have a very high replay value. I had reordered The Darkness 2, and returned it because i didn't wanna pay $60 for a 4 hour game, so i rented it instead and beat it that same day.
I already own:
- The Darkness
- Bayonetta
- Gears of War 1 and 2
- Condemned 2: Bloodshot
- Deadly Premonition
- Fable 2
I have also played Arkham City and Skyrim, and have liked them both. Any older or even newer games that are coming out that are suggested would be greatly appreciated. I have Silent Hill: Downpour reordered, but I am afraid I will run into the same problem that i had with The Darkness II. All suggestions are appreciated thanks! :)
Answer:
alot of shooter games that have multiplayer. racing games and sports games are a huge to replay. specially if they have online as well.
so you have like the cod series games. mw3, black ops, etc. if for 360 you already have gears of war, but what about the halo games. sports games, fighting games also like ufc, street fighter. mortal kombat. and racing like i love the need for speed series games, hot pursuit, shift, etc. there are other ones as well.
I don't have an xbox but games like skyrim, oblivion, and fallout 3 don't have the best replay value but they have so much content that it doesn't matter. another game I like that had great replay value even on the demo was just cause 2. and that game had a ton of content replay value aside. it is SO much fun.
and if you're willing to get off the xbox i'd also get minecraft and start a server with a couple of friends. add skype and its just like xbox live.
RPGs that I have replayed more than five times:
- Alpha Protocol [spy-theme rpg]
- Mass Effect 1 & 2 [sci-fi rpg]
Long RPGs that I have only played once or twice, the sequels included:
Oblivion, Fallout, Dragon Age, Risen, Two Worlds, Fable.
It seems you are only interested in longer games, I have replayed these many times:
Half-Life 2, Far Cry 1 & 2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, L.A. Noire, Star Wars The Force Unleashed, Prototype, Darksiders, Dark Souls, Earth Defense Force Insect Armageddon, Earth Defense Force 2017, Red Faction Guerrilla.
Racing games always have high replay value to me:
Forza 3/4, Project Gotham Racing 4, Race-Pro, Burnout Paradise, F1 2010, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Ridge Racer 6, SBK 09 Superbike World Championship, Test Drive Unlimited 1 & 2.
Mass Effect and Assassin Creed series just because the Single Player will keep you busy for a long time, especially if your a completionist like me. Haven't played Skyrim, but I'd suggest playing Oblivion before Skyrim just cuz it's cheaper, and you wont get all upset that the graphics are worse.
For multiplayer, Gears 3 and Battlefield 3 are very solid. Easiest way to try out games is download the demo's on Live. It's free and you can buy the ones your really interested in playing.
-Fallout 3 (replay for exploration, achievements, different endings)
-Bioshock (not the sequel) (replay for achievements, different endings, and to catch plot clues you didn't notice, also has greatest twist in a video game of all time)
-Assassins Creed series (great story, fun to play, can replay levels to collect clues that unveil the ancient mysteries of the world)
I despise playing games that are too short. Skyrim, Fable 2, Arkham, and the ones I listed above are some of my favorite games I have played.
Honestly, Sonic Unleashed and Generations have a very high replay value if you like that kind of game. I'd also consider Assassin Creed Brotherhood, the games fun and the multi-player keeps you coming back.
Grand Theft Auto 4
Red Dead Remdemption
Assasins Creed Revelations
Gears of War 3
Oblivion
Forza Motor Sport 4
Football Manager 2012 [PC]
Portal 2
Team Fortress
Bully
FIFA 12
Just Cause 2
Sports games (depends on what sports you like)
RPG's (Try the Elder Scroll series)
Shooter's for Multiplayer
you will not be bored for a while
If you liked SKyrim, try Fallout, I think its slightly harder though, But its still really fun.
gta 4
red dead
and black ops for multilayer
cant go wrong with those
skyrim 100 plus hours
or just cause 2
None of them
they all suck
unless they are on PS3!!!
