Question: What is your opinion on a girl that plays video games?
I have been playing video games since I was young. Since I grew up with 2 older brothers, I didn't grow up watching Barbie or Elmo.
I would watch Dragon Ball Z or Naruto.
Now I'm 13, and I own a Nintendo Wii and a PS3.
I recently finished The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I was telling my brother that I wanted to buy the game: Skyrim.
He said it was a 'guy game'
And that girls don't even play video games, and that they shouldn't play them either.
is it okay for me to play video games ?

any girl/women who plays video games is cool and will probably put most boys or men to shame.as for skyrim,its a great game that im sure thousands of girls/women are playing.i would get the game if your interested in it and i wouldn't ask your brother any more about gaming.hope this helps.
It sounds like your brother is a turd, tell him to shut up, Skyrim is for anyone, if you like Twilight or Harry Potter then you will love Skyrim, its like those films but way way cooler!
I think girls who play video games are down to earth and I don't like the sterotypes of all gamers are males and under 16, I'm 24 and I game, its a big big part of my life, always has been and always will be, I'll be gaming until the day I die, hoopefully thats not soon because I'm very excited for GTAV and the next Elder Scrolls :D
Yes. It is okay for you to play video games. I can understand why you watch what you watch and play what you play - what you brother don't seem to understand. You seem to like games with a good story. It's easy as that. Skyrim is no "Guy-Game", it is just more common that guys plays it- like every single other game in the world.
Judging from your likes, opinions, age and writings - I doubt that you will like Skyrim in the long road. I think you will most enjoy it the first hours but then it will be to boring. Maybe i'm wrong, i don't know.

She's really good, If she wanted I'm sure she could make a living off of playing games. Everyone told her girls don't play video games, and she still does. Don't let gender hold you back my wife is faster than me on most video games. Buy Skyrim it has the optional gender feature to play any race as a female character.
