Question: POLL: XBOX 360 with Kinect or the Nintendo WiI?
and why would you favor playing one over the other?

i would say Wii for me nothing really caught my interest with hte Kinect and with the Wii at least i can play my old gamecube games and old snes games :)

The problem is with Kinect is that it is very buggy, and the games are poo
The Wii is also seen as a child's console but with Wii motion plus it becomes a very good console...
If I had to choose I would say Kinect but honestly I'm not really a fan of motion control altogether.
The technology of the Wii was already dated when it launched 6 yrs ago, so today the graphics are pretty horrible. There are a few great games that use the motion control well but the market is mostly flooded with crap. I played through Zelda: Skyward Sword with the motion plus controller which was decent and a big improvement on the regular Wii motion control but hardly the revolution some people have made it out to be in my opinion.
I have also played around a bit with Kinect and while it seems neat, there are very few good games supporting it at the moment, nor are there any coming out any time soon. It seems to be more of a gimmick that anything else at the moment but I could be proven wrong. The technology is definitely far beyond what the Wii can do but they still need to bring out games that really use it well.
I do think that motion control has potential for some great games but this generation it has mostly been used for light-hearted family affairs and generally isn't as responsive as its cracked up to be.
i would rather have the kinect because i think the only good game on the wii is the sports stuff. cant really have fun playing anything else.
i would say xbow with kinect because with the XBOX you get good graphic games like fifa ufc skyrim and the kinect is basicly a sooped up will with no controler so like wii sport and kinect sport is different because you can lie down with wii sport but with kinect sport you have to move whatever you chose have fun gameing
