Question: Madden NFL 12 new york giants question?

I use the new york giants in the game Madden nfl 12. I was wondering because, Jason Pierre-Paul is a 94 overall and he play RE. O. Umenyiora is a 92 overall and he also play RE. So its kind of a wasted talent because umenyiora is the back up RE in madden yet he is a 92 overall. So should i move umenyiora to play the DT position or just keep umenyiora as buck up RE? What would be more effective?

Answer:

The Giants pretty much rotate their 5 defensive linemen: JPP, Tuck, Osi, kiwi, and Canty, you should do the same

I always use the NEW YORK GIANTS in Madden 12 because they're my favorite team. I cant remember the last time I didnt you them. I have the best defensive line comination. Here's what I got:
LE - Jason Pierre-Paul, DT - Osi , then Canty in the 2 spot, RE, Justin Tuck. Put Osi in the 2 spot for LE and JPP in the 2 spot for RE.Toffelson is my 3rd back up for all Dline positions.I also like to use my d-line when in a game. I love using their finesse moves to get passed the Offensive Line and put pressure on that QB, or even better, sack them. I get multiple sacks a game.
If you're facing someone who likes to run with the QB, be sure to get your predictions down and put a linebacker or d-linemen in QB spy.
This is a great way to stop a passing game.
REMEMBER, most people on live play like little girls, so just because you have this defensive line, doesnt mean you'll win every game.
If your opponent is being a little puss with that running game, then get your predictions down for the run too. Blitzing is key to stopping the run.

the new york giants d-line is like no other in the NFL. They use a "NASCAR" package, where they used the combined effort of their 4 defensive ends - tuck, JPP, osi and dave tollefson. What I do in madden is have JPP and Tuck at the ends and move osi and Tollefson inside, run a 4-3 . Your pass rush will be AMAZING
