Question: Guild Wars 2 Popularity, Knowledge, Interest and Excitement?
Hello everyone,
I am a average gamer guy who has been waiting for the new up in-coming MMORPG called "Guild Wars 2"
I have been waiting for 5 years, it's coming out this year! Release date is still TBA, but it's still exciting to see that it's almost done.
I am just wondering if you guys have heard of the game and are you Interested?
Or
Are you just learning about it now, and will you check it out?
Or
Are you a die-hard Guild Wars fan and can't wait to get your hands on Guild Wars 2 and play it until you see Dwayna guarding the golden gates of Heaven?
Personally I am a die-hard, I just want to see who else is like me about this game! I can't wait to make my Asura Elementalist for WvWvW and my Human Thief man for PvE. It's just going to be crazy!
If you want more information about the game there are tons of sites and forms about Guild Wars 2 that are well worth checking out. Youtube also has some great demo game-play from gaming conventions that are very exciting!
So leave an answer with what you think about this amazing game?
If you are a die hard and know about this game, what are you planning to play?
Answer:
The first game was OK for the weekend it took to do everything... and then you realized that there was nothing else and it was time to move on.
Diablo 2 is coming out at about the same time.. I see no point in even looking at GW2.
I have been playing computergames since the advent of the home computer and I have never looked forward to a game as much as I am Guild Wars 2.
I even made a youtube-channel with clips about the game, answering questions and making presentations.
Guild Wars 2 is shaping up to be a very diverse MMORPG, and by that I mean its races. Races are an important part of MMOs. They offer options to the player and help make the in game world feel whole. We have gone over the races that we will have the opportunity to play as, but many of us have forgotten about the other races. We will be able to explore their villages and cities, accept quests from them, and even meet them on the battlefield. Given all this interaction with them, it makes sense that a lot goes into these races, even if we won’t be playing as them. So let’s go over what makes these races awesome, and not just a random race put in for players to get a few quests from.
I've played Guild Wars for years, and I'm looking forward to the new game. Everything I've seen so far looks really interesting and ambitious, so here's hoping that ArenaNet can deliver.
I'll most likely start with a human necromancer, for nostalgic reasons.
I played the first Guild Wars for years. It was a lot of fun, and I still miss my elementalist sometimes. It looks really good, and in many ways it seems that the game is changing a lot of MMO conventions. It was just announced that Guild Wars 2 is coming to consoles.
Dont know dont care
